I have over 2 decades of design and Fine Art experience. Currently, I have a BFA from University of Louisiana Lafayette  and two web program certificates from Rice University. Before that, I received a Visual Arts certificate from the world famous New Orleans Center for Creative Art. There are a lot of other accomplishments and accolades listed in my resume. I will tell you what I do on an everyday basis to give you an idea of my capabilities.

I am responsible for maintaining and establishing new brand identity for the Children’s Museum of Houston through exhibits and marketing campaign materials distributed to the public. I meet with the other graphic designers on a regular basis to receive projects, provide a forum for analyzing and reviewing the direct mail strategy, and to discuss graphic issues. Meeting with individual project directors determine and resolve graphic design and budgeting issues relating to specific projects. I produce and design presentation and printed materials for development, marketing, education, and finance departments. In addition, I also design and produce logos, banners, websites and collateral materials for all marketing and Museum events. Attending meetings, completing sketches, marketing campaign ideas and providing suggestions for color, flooring, and other materials is how I participate in the conceptual development of permanent and temporary exhibits. I design exhibit graphics such as title and instructional signage and all collateral materials for exhibit spaces in order to maintain the graphic identity of the Museum.

I acquire appropriate approvals on all designs before production or printing. When necessary, I work with graphic vendors acquiring prices or quotes and coordinating services required in the printing, production, fabrication, and delivery of presentation materials. I maintain art and computer resources, graphic files, samples, a log of expenses and account charges, and track purchases to accounting. Lastly, I maintain the website and assist with the installation of graphics throughout the Museum with the assistance of the Fabrication Shop. This is what I do daily, so imagine what I can do for your company.
